2024 is the year of making life easier AND saving money. Honestly, saving money is probably number one on my list of New Year’s Resolutions. Every time I check my bank account I have to remind myself that I was in fact not hacked and did spend all of that money on my own. Being an adult with my own bank account and no consequences for overspending really is so dangerous… If you’re like me and looking for any and every way to save some money in the new year, listen up!

COFFEE CLUB

If you’re reading this blog, the likelihood that you drink coffee is very high. What do you do when you run out of coffee? Race on down to Alma Coffee for a new bag of coffee, right? Here’s an easy fix that will actually save you money: Our Coffee Club is a monthly subscription service that you can either get shipped for free OR pick it up in-person at the café for an even fresher bag of coffee! Not only do we save you time, but we save you moneyyyy. You can choose between 1-4 bags of coffee per month, so if you’re like me and need at LEAST 3 cups of coffee a day, you can get 4 bags delivered to you every month so you don’t have to worry about waking up with no coffee. Being a part of the Coffee Club is like having a seat at the cool kids table.

CANISTERS

If you’re not into the scheduled pick-ups and/or delivery side of being in the Coffee Club, we get it. There’s nothing quite like coming into the café and interacting with our brew crew! If you just can’t get enough of us, another great option for saving this year is to buy a canister! The canister is the best deal that we offer on our coffee!! We have two canister options available for you to choose from. If you’re more of a chill coffee drinker, the smaller 1 lb canister ($32), which equates to a little more than a 12 oz bag of coffee, is just for you! On the flip-side, if you are more of a coffee freak (much like myself), may I suggest our 2.5 lb canister ($39)? Our canisters are proof that you CAN have your cake and eat it too. We offer these in both black and white, so whatever your aesthetic may be, we have the perfect option for you. Now I know what you’re thinking… “How is a canister so cute and beautiful going to save me money?” Well, when you buy a canister, you’re not only getting more coffee than you would were you to get a bag of coffee, you are also saving money for your future self. The 1lb canister pays itself off in roughly 7 refills, and the 2.5lb canister pays itself off in about 5 refills. Plus, you get to see our smiling faces every time you need a refill. Massive selling point!

AT-HOME GRINDERS

Another way you can save money in 2024 is with an at-home grinder. A little-known secret about coffee is that the fresher the grind, the fresher the flavor. While it’s not the same as coming into the café and grabbing a cup of coffee brewed just for you, it is a close second. For those of you who order online or are halfway across the country, this is a great way to get an idea of what grabbing a coffee in the café would taste like. If you’re looking to save some money on going to coffee shops without compromising a delicious cup of coffee every day, this is the perfect option for you. If you’re interested in getting a grinder for your home, might I suggest the Baratza Coffee Grinder? She is pure magic and makes a mean cup of joe!

If you’re buying coffee for a whole office, a great way to save money on coffee is through our wholesale program. 2024 is the year to throw out the instant and stale office coffee and replace it with sustainably sourced, extraordinary coffee.
