Alma Coffee County Fair: How the Fall Menu Came to Be
Things are changing around the café yet again! The much-anticipated Fall Menu has officially launched, and you could say we’re FAIR-ly excited about it! We’ve got Pumpkin Spice and all things nice here in the café. I know, I know… “It’s still 90º outside, way too hot for a Pumpkin Spice Latte.” That’s when we say, “Would you like that iced?” For those who are adamant about no PSL until it gets cold out, we get it (somewhat) and we’ve got drinks just for you! Try our Turtle Latte, the Spiced Apple Chai, or the Honey, Maple, and Cinnamon Latte. These are sure to keep you caffeinated and festive without breaking the “no PSL” rule.
THE CONCEPT
With the Fall menu, we wanted to do something a little different this year. After weeks of racking our brains around fun Fall activities and how we can create a whole theme around them, we finally landed on the County Fair. The Fair is a staple Fall tradition, especially in the South. The menu design really focuses on all the iconic Fair foods from pretzels and cotton candy to popcorn and corn dogs. We wanted something that screamed “County Fair” on a chilly Fall evening. The plan was for the café to give that feeling of waiting in line to get on the Ferris Wheel with the sound of someone playing ring toss and winning bells ringing all around you.
DÉCOR & DRINKS
Around the café, we’ve strung up banners and put raffle tickets and rubber duckies all around the bar. Get ready for the Fall weather with Pumpkin Spice and all things nice. Our Fall menu includes:- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Maple, Honey, Cinnamon Latte
- Turtle Latte
- Spiced Apple Chai
I know we say this every release, but for real: you’re not going to want to miss this one! As Anna Wilkerson once said, “There's something that feels so all-American about a county fair.”
