As the newest member of our "Alma-doptions" direct trade familia, the "Pedernales" bright roast hails from a high altitude family-owned farm not far from our own family farms in Copan, Honduras which local farmers call "Finca Pedernales." We first were introduced to the wonderful farmers of Finca Pedernales in 2021 when a few of our team members visited another Alma-adoption farming partner in Belen Gualcho. Upon first introduction, we knew this 1900-meter-high coffee farm was something special, and we committed to forging a new relationship with these farmers intended to improve lives and yield extraordinary coffee. With notes of fresh Pomegranate, Green Apples, and Pear Preserves, this new bright roast offering is truly extraordinary, housing unique fruity & floral notes that are absolutely perfect for pour over & flash brew advocates who lean towards brighter roasts. Try these special beans from our friends at Finca Pedernales today and share your experience with us on social media (@myalmacoffee)!
