Origin Story:

Grown by a group of local farmers, this Papua New Guinea (PNG) coffee is grown in the remote Arufa and Kindeng regions of the Western Highlands. The smallholder farmer network hand picks these cherries and then sun dries them for about a month resulting in a delicious natural processed coffee.

After tasting this coffee and absolutely falling in love with its strong and unique grapefruit notes, we learned that there were only 10 green coffee sacks of this coffee in existence. We immediately knew we needed to make this a limited release offering and snatched up 5 of those 10 bags for your coffee drinking pleasure! 

Roast Story:

This PNG coffee caught our eye in the very name, not only is it our first offering from Papua New Guinea but it is also our first ever natural process offering from a country other than Honduras.

As we love to do with all specialty processes, we chose to roast this coffee with a lighter roast to truly bring out the natural terroir of the coffee. With so much complexity to this coffee, we truly recommend enjoying it au naturale with no added sugar or dairy. BUT this being said, if you choose to add a splash of something into this coffee, we promise not to judge ;)
