Chemex Brewing Method Recipe | Copan Coffee Roasters (CCR)

Chemex

Serving Size: 1 Cup

Step 1: Place a filter inside the Chemex with the 3 layered portion resting on the spout

Step 2: Dampen the filter and Chemex by pouring hot water in a circular motion on the filter. Dump out the water and place the filter back inside the Chemex

Step 3: Place 25g of coffee inside the filter. The coffee should be ground at a consistency that would resemble sea salt

Step 4: With a gooseneck kettle containing water at about 195°F, slowly pour 375g of water over the coffee. Start in the beginning of the ground and work in a circular and slow motion around the filter

Step 5: Allow all the water to drip through the filter, remove the filter, pour, and enjoy!

Hario V60 Brewing Method Recipe | Copan Coffee Roasters (CCR)

Hario V60

Serving Size: 1 Cup

Step 1: Place a filter inside the V60

Step 2: Dampen the filter by pouring hot water in a circular motion on the filter. Dump out the water and place the filter back inside the V60

Step 3: Place 25g of coffee inside the filter. The coffee should be ground at a consistency that would resemble sea salt

French Press Brewing Method Recipe | Copan Coffee Roasters (CCR)

French Press

Serving Size: 1 Cup

Step 1: Bring 350g of water to a boil

Step 2: Grind 30g of coffee to a coarse and even grind and pour into the french press

Step 3: Pour about a third of the boiling water into the french press, stir, and allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds

Step 4: Add the rest of the water to the french press and put the lid on top without plunging. Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes

Step 5: Press the filter down, serve, and enjoy!

Moka Pot Brewing Method Recipe | Copan Coffee Roasters (CCR)

Moka Pot

Serving Size: 1 Cup

Step 1: Grind 20g of coffee very fine as if it were for espresso

Step 2: Fill the bottom portion of the moka pot with boiling water

Step 3: Place the filter on top of the water and place the ground coffee inside the filter

Step 4: Carefully screw on the top portion of the Moka Pot to the bottom portion and set on the stove at medium high heat

Step 5: Once you hear a sizzling/bubbling sound your coffee is ready! Serve and enjoy!
